ISU...grrrr.....

The last few weeks have been so frustrating with school! Granted, I shouldn't have waited till July to register and kick it in gear, but life happens. I have been trying to find a couple classes that will work with my work schedule (8am-4pm) I have found one, an online History of Dance class, and the other possible class is a math class. One annoying thing you have to do when just starting with math, is to test into whichever math class you can so you don't have to take all of the prerequisites. Seeing that the last math class I took was 2 years ago at BYU-I, this didn't go over too well. I tested into the lowest class that I possibly could! Even though I have already taken Math 101 and Social Science Statistics 223 (passing with flying colors) I couldn't pass the dumb ISU piddly "test your knowledge" test! How frustrating...So this has been my plan. I was going to register for the class, but go in and retake the test to try to test into a higher class. Here are the complications:

-ISU Summer Office Hours: 8am-4pm (same hours that I work)
-ISU didn't put in my test scores so that I could at least register for the lower class just in case.
-After calling several departments at ISU on my break, what I thought was a resolved problem was in fact not  resolved at all. So, I have to wait till Monday before I can do anything.

So, here I am at a stand still till Monday. Oh happy weekend!

Yes, I worship James!

This past Wednesday was the first time Josh and I have ever been to a concert together!! We went to American Idol Live...and yes, I am addicted. Throughout the whole season Josh and I would DVR the episodes because he works till 7 each night. But when he got home, we would watch intently while we ate dinner. Enough about that. The concert was AWESOME!! Josh and I both got off work at 12:30 and so we left town at about 1:30, with my parents. On the way down we stopped in Brigham City, UT for Maddox...yummmmmm! For those of you who have never eaten there, haven't lived. We got to the Maverick Center at approx. 6:00pm and had to wait in line to get to our seats. Here is a picture of the stage and how far away we were from it.
Wicked awesome huh!! Well the concert starts and the ones that I don't care for too much perform. (Thia, Pia, Jacob, etc.) But then some of my favorites come out...

And I saved the best for last...
Yes, that is James nearly 5ft in front of me...Yeah, you could say I almost FREAKED!
 James..
James, again.
The concert was a blast. If the drunk men and women sitting behind us wouldn't have been there making snide comments and reeking the air with their alcohol breath, then the night would have been perfect! We got home at approx. 2:30am and got up for work at 7:15am. Work was a killer, but it was worth it!
