The last few weeks have been so frustrating with school! Granted, I shouldn't have waited till July to register and kick it in gear, but life happens. I have been trying to find a couple classes that will work with my work schedule (8am-4pm) I have found one, an online History of Dance class, and the other possible class is a math class. One annoying thing you have to do when just starting with math, is to test into whichever math class you can so you don't have to take all of the prerequisites. Seeing that the last math class I took was 2 years ago at BYU-I, this didn't go over too well. I tested into the lowest class that I possibly could! Even though I have already taken Math 101 and Social Science Statistics 223 (passing with flying colors) I couldn't pass the dumb ISU piddly "test your knowledge" test! How frustrating...So this has been my plan. I was going to register for the class, but go in and retake the test to try to test into a higher class. Here are the complications:
-ISU Summer Office Hours: 8am-4pm (same hours that I work)
-ISU didn't put in my test scores so that I could at least register for the lower class just in case.
-After calling several departments at ISU on my break, what I thought was a resolved problem was in fact not resolved at all. So, I have to wait till Monday before I can do anything.
So, here I am at a stand still till Monday. Oh happy weekend!
Ya talk about frustrating!!!! I hate those proficiency tests, they really don't test anything!!!! I've been there and know how you feel. It's the math part that seems to bring everyone down (the loop holes you have to jump through)
